PRODUCT CARE

CRESSIDA THE LABEL pieces are made to be worn and loved everyday.
It is important to note that gold jewellery is delicate and can be damaged with improper care.
While it is inevitable that over the lifetime of your jewellery, scratches may develop and some pieces may catch on clothing and other objects, simple measures can be taken to ensure the longevity of your jewellery.
To ensure that the jewellery retains its integrity, please refrain from exposing the pieces to differing metals, abrasive chemicals, strenuous exercise activities and harsh environments such as the beach, pool and gardening.
When you are not wearing your jewellery, please store the piece it the original packaging to preserve its precious condition.
Diamond pieces require extra care.  Although diamond is the hardest natural material on earth and cannot be scratched (except by other diamonds), these pieces are not indestructible if they come under sudden extreme force or impact.
Wherever possible, please remove your rings before using hand sanitisers, lotions and creams as these products can leave a residue on your jewellery and will make the piece - especially diamonds, appear cloudy and dull.
HOW TO CLEAN YOUR GOLD AND DIAMOND JEWELLERY:

You may clean your gold and diamond pieces with a mild dish soap and warm water.

Please avoid using toothpaste or any abrasive household cleaners and chemicals such as chlorine and bleach, as these can scratch gold and damage delicate jewellery.

Dissolve a small amount of mild dish-soap in a shallow dish of warm water.

Soak the jewellery in the solution for 2 - 3 minutes and use a soft bristle toothbrush to gently clean your piece and remove any stubborn dirt or buildup.  Please avoid any sharp or heavy duty cleaning utensils.

**You may soak the piece for up to 20 - 30 minutes depending on its condition.

Lay the piece to dry on a clean, dry tissue or soft cloth.  Do not use paper towel.
